She was very pleased with her presents from my parents!

We had some friends over who had a baby born a month after Penny. He is huge compared to her! But he couldn't have cared less about Penny - she was very into him though! Stroking his leg, grabbing his hand, and even lunging at ("hugging") him at one point. It was funny to see! 

We finally decided that we were feeling confident enough to brave a flight with Penny to Indiana for two weeks over Christmas. It was really fun - especially Penny getting to meet everyone since the Wilsons and Warrens had come as well. Penny did pretty well on the flight - just getting upset the last 30 minutes of the last flight. It was nice that our second flight wasn't full, so we got to lay Penny down on the middle seat!

Broncos overload

Penny fell asleep in Katy's arms while watching TV one night 

SO much colder than what we're used to!

Peyton would carry around the monitor and watch Penny sleep during naps! 

And she fell asleep in Julia's arms while we were playing cards!

Steve got this hat for Christmas and Penny was so excited when Steve put it on her! 

Randy dressed up as Santa and took pictures with all the grandkids that were there. Penny thought it was okay.

Tasting the beard

Feline Rescue Center - it was a little more rundown than I was expecting, but it was fun minus Penny's two huge meltdowns.

We had tons of fun! It didn't snow the whole time we were there AND we missed a huge snow storm ("Goliath") back in Lubbock while we were gone. I was so disappointed! As of today, I still have not seen any snow all winter. 

The flights back home went pretty well - 2/3 had an empty seat for Penny, so she was happy to wiggle! And she slept the entire last flight from Austin to Lubbock!

Right as I took this picture the flight attendant started talking and Penny was shocked at the voice from nowhere! :)
