Thanksgiving 2014

Oooooookay, so I have some catching up to do! Over Thanksgiving we headed to Florida to be with the Wilsons, Other Pepers, and Steve's parents. We had so much fun! (I didn't take too many pictures, so I stole some from your blog Kelly!)

Since we flew in on Steve's birthday, Kelly threw Steve a great "The Big Bang Theory" themed birthday party complete with cardboard characters, Thai food, awesome presents, and a "bazinga" cake (compliments of TJ). Steve was pretty excited about it!

We played lots of games!

On Thanksgiving Steve played in the turkey bowl. Unfortunately, he had a little meeting with the ground at one point and the field was completely covered in pokey little weeds - it took forever to pick them all out of his back and then he had a rash for almost the whole week we were there! Poor Steve!

Later that day we had a delicious dinner and then took some nice long naps!

Making slime:

We went boating one day which was so so fun! We saw so many dolphins that would come so close to our boat. And there were a ton of jelly fish as well!

One day Kate brought down all her bows and decided to do Steve's hair.

We had a bonfire on the beach one evening! I forget how great it is to be around the ocean and how much I love to hear the waves and watch the sunset over the water.

We also had plenty of time to hang out. We hadn't seen the new Transformers movie, so Tyler and Dylan made sure we were caught up on that!

Our last morning there we headed to the beach one last time with Kelly. We found a horseshoe crab with all the guts still inside!

This picture is just hilarious to me! Steve and Kelly were so focused on finding "good" shells and sand dollars every time we went to the beach.
